Below is the Print Release that was included in the agreement signed upon booking:

 

All images created by QB Photography, in whatever form, are copyright protected. It is a violation of federal copyright law to copy, scan, alter or modify digitally or otherwise, or allow images created by QB Photography to be reprinted, duplicated, digitally reproduced, copied, scanned, or altered digitally or otherwise, without QB Photography's express written permission. Photographer grants permission to Client to share & print (on their own) any of their purchased images for personal use, only once in possession of the final digital image files. Any negatives of digital files created by QB Photography remain sole property of QB Photography and will never be given or sold. Photographer agrees to grant these image rights to Client with a non-exclusive, limited, perpetual license:

 

This license will allow Client to do the following with the images:

- Display the images;

- Print the images;

- Upload, email, or electronically transfer the images or files; and

- Publish and share the images on personal websites or social media; each time with credit given to QB Photography, when and where applicable.

THIS LICENSE WILL PROHIBIT CLIENT FROM THE FOLLOWING:

- APPLYING FOR COPYRIGHT REGISTRATION OR SELLING OF ANY IMAGES OR ELECTRONIC FILES SUPPLIED BY QB PHOTOGRAPHY;

- MAKING “DERIVATIVE WORKS” OR OTHERWISE MODIFYING, INCLUDING EDITING AND/OR MANIPULATION OF, ANY IMAGES OR ELECTRONIC FILES SUPPLIED BY QB PHOTOGRAPHY.

 

Client agrees to pay Photographer $500 per copyright violation.

In exchange for valid consideration, Client grants Photographer permission to use Client’s name, image, or likeness in any and all forms of media for display, publication, or other promotional uses without payment of additional compensation to Client or Client’s agents. All individuals being photographed at the Session shall be deemed to have consented to the use of their name, image, or likeness by Client or Photographer for the duration of the Session.

 

When posting any of the digital files to any form of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) Client may not alter the image in any way. This includes, but is not limited to, adding filters, editing or “photoshopping” the images, cropping, etc. Client may not crop the image unless required to by the program for whatever purpose, such as for a profile photo or profile header. Client must give credit to Photographer each time any work produced by QB Photography is published by Client electronically via social media. If Client violates any of the above terms, Photographer reserves the right to request that the image(s) be deleted from wherever they were published. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure family and friends are aware of these conditions when sharing/publishing images.
