  • Where are you based & how far will you travel?
    I'm based in Eagle River, Alaska (right outside of Anchorage), but I'm available to travel anywhere your project takes me! My main service area covers the entirety of the Municipality of Anchorage & part of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Generally speaking, that includes any locations within 25mi of Eagle River. However, I regularly work with clients across Alaska, and I'm always willing to explore new locations for exciting opportunities. Whether you're planning senior portraits in the mountains, a rooftop wedding in the city, or a destination elopement on a glacier, I'm happy to discuss your needs while working together to bring your ideas to life, no matter where it takes us! I have yet to have the opportunity to travel specifically for a session or wedding outside of Alaska, but I'd be more than willing to entertain it! Would you like to be my first? 🤗

    I believe in providing high-quality services at accessible prices! I offer several discounts year round: • Loyalty discount: Offered to returning clients & referrals as a token of appreciation for their loyalty and support! • First Responder discount: Offered to active duty & retired Fire & EMS personnel (w/ valid ID). Thank you for your dedication to your community! • Military discount: Offered to active duty & veterans (w/ valid ID). Thank you for your service! I also periodically offer specials on select photography packages, especially during off-peak seasons or for special occasions such as holidays or personal milestones. My aim is to make photography services more affordable for everyone without compromising on the exceptional quality and creativity that you're looking for in your images.
  • How long have you been a photographer? How'd you get into it?
    I originally established my business in 2016, while I was a senior in high school. So, I've been capturing moments for my clients for 8 years now! You can read a little bit about my background here ☻
  • Do you help with posing? I've never had my photo taken professionally before...*

  • What kind of equipment do you use? Do you have any backup equipment?*
    I am team Canon! Currently, my main camera body is a Canon R6 Mark II, and my second body is the original R6. For lenses, I use the RF L series line (mainly the 50mm 1.2 & 70-200mm 2.8 – IYKYK). Previously, I owned & used the Canon 5d Mark IV, and while I do miss her dearly, I absolutely love the newer technology of the mirrorless systems! I strive to use ambient light for as much of my work as possible, but there are definitely situations in which off-camera flash can save the day, so I do sometimes use external lighting!

  • How do I book a session with you?
    Whether you're ready to pick a date now, or just browsing around for the right photographer for you, you can start by heading over to my "Contact" tab & filling out the applicable contact form to tell me a bit about what you're looking for. From there, I'll follow up with you via your requested response method to discuss details. After choosing the right package for you, we'll determine the best date & location for the session. When you decide you would like to move forward with securing your date, I'll create an agreement for you to review & sign. To fully secure your date, a non-refundable retainer fee (amount varies based on chosen package) is required. Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis, so a date is not booked until I’ve received the contract and the retainer.

  • How do I book you to photograph my wedding or elopement?
    Start by heading over to my "Contact" tab & filling out this contact form to give me some details about you & your partner, & to share any other info you'd like to tell me. From there, I'll follow up with you via your requested response method to find a good time for us to either meet in person or over video chat. Finding a good fit is crucial for the type of natural, intimate images that I create, so I like to get to know all of my wedding and elopement couples personally! This will give me a chance to figure out exactly what you are looking for in a wedding photographer, as well as give you the chance to ask any questions you may have. Once you've decided that I'm the gal you trust to capture your special day, we'll nail down the final details so I can create an agreement for you both to review & sign, which I read through together with my couples to explain all the legalese in easy-to-understand terms. To fully secure your date, a non-refundable retainer fee (amount varies based on package) is required. Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis, so a date is not booked until I’ve received the contract and the retainer.
